In the rancid days of ruin, his body's sweating toxins of his own demise. When the night comes, he gets deranged by some strange alchemy. There's nothing pure in this world and ... wait, let me start over. It's a nice day to start again, right?

Hit messages:

He says, "Welcome to my mind," and then he goes psyko-sonik on you. He starts his teknojihad by delivering a serious shock on the wire that lays you flat. Down on the ground, you realize you should have read more William Gibson. You get hit for X damage.

Your opponent attacks ... Night is all around him; stars are in his hair. He's entangled in the secrets that he's found hidden there. He struggles vigorously but fails to get untangled.

  • Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction, in which William Gibson was a pioneer. Neuromancer is one of his most well-known novels.
  • "Welcome to My Mind", "Teknojihad", "Shock on the Wire", and "Down on the Ground" are titles of songs performed by the nineties techno group Psykosonik, whose lyrics often contained cyberpunk themes.
  • The rest of the combat messages, as well as the enemy description, reference the Billy Idol album Cyberpunk, especially the songs "Neuromancer" and "Mother Dawn".
  • The enemy's image is an example of cyberpunk fashion.
