Talk:Bouncy battery ball

hit:

  • You attack ... you dribble your bouncy ball on the <foe> x times for X + electric damage.
  • You attack ... you build up the charge in your battery ball, bouncing it off the <foe> X times. It's nicely charged... oh, and does X + electric damage.
  • You attack ... you set up the perfect loop to ricochet the ball endlessly between your opponent and the nearest handy object. The <foe> eventually escapes, but only after getting hit X times for X + electric damage.
  • You attack ... you pretend its opening day and show off your trademark fast (bouncy) ball X times for X + electric damage.
  • You attack ... you ricochet your bouncy ball off anything and everything X times for X + electric damage.

  • The battery ball gives you a little shock when it bounces back to your hand. You gain X power points.

miss:

  • You attack ... you dribble the bouncy ball, showing off your super sweet Globetrotter moves. Wait? Was there something you were supposed to be doing?
  • You attack ... you build up the charge in your battery ball until it serves as a passable night light.
  • You attack ... you set up the perfect loop to ricochet the ball between two objects. You watch until gravity takes over. Shame neither of those was the <foe>.
  • You attack ... you bounce your bouncy ball redundantly, then spend so much time trying to come up with a better verb you miss your chance to attack.
  • You attack ... you ricochet your bouncy ball off anything and everything... except the <foe>.

fumble

  • You attack ... Fumble! The ball hits the ground hard, then rockets back up at your face harder. By the time you notice the physical impossibility of that, you've already taken X damage.

(all different observed outcomes - didn't consider those that don't agree with the 10% (seems to be round(0.1*electric) ) the item says because the pp gained depends on the pp the foe has and not only on the electric damage dealt)

hits - electric - pp restored

1 - 5 - 1

2 - 15 - 2

3 - 30 - 3

4 - 50 - 5

5 - 75 - 8

6 - 105 - 11

7 - 140 - 14

8 - 180 - 18

9 - 225 - 23

formula for the electric damage seems to be:

damage = 2.5*(hits)^2+2.5*(hits)

FWIW, this is uncapped. One of you enterprising individuals should grab some Bedivere's and blast someone with Death Blossom :D Cristiona
