Level

Level is the rank of your character. Levels can be gained in the Heroes' Guild when having enough experience points and chips. Gaining a level usually also grants a skill. Some items have a minimum level requirement to be equipped and some quests have a minimum level requirement before they can be initiated.

Training twice without leaving the Heroes' Guild screen will give you the Delayed Gratification Merit Badge.
