After losing a fight with this equipped: 'Without your protective gear that would have been a really bad beating. Not that this was a good beating mind you, but it could have been worse.'
and I didn't get a negative effect. So my theory is that 'Prevents bad injuries' prevents negative effects from losing. Didn't yet check if it also does something to enemy crits. Kurg 07:30, 22 September 2011 (PDT)
