Walking around with a motorcycle helmet on can look kinda dorky. But wearing a motorcyle helmet has both a bonus and a drawback. The drawback is that your peripheral vision is greatly diminished. The bonus is that your hearing is also greatly diminished, greatly reducing the insults you'll hear.
