skreel |
---|
You are fighting a skreel.
This thing is kind of like a vicious, dive-bombing bat creature made out of living rock, which sometimes explodes. You really have to wonder about the Darwinistic probabilities of this creature even existing.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- As the skreel dives toward you, you jump and twirl in the air. Unfortunately, your impression that you know some sort of super-invulnerability-spin attack is mistaken.
- The skreel shoots down from above, slamming into you and causing you to subsequently slam into the ground. You feel like you just spent the night at a club in Glasgow.
- You duck and the skreel zips past you, getting lodged into the ground. You approach to show it who's boss, but it explodes, shattering you with rubble. By the time the rubble clears, another one waits to attack you.
It hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- You jump and spin, and somehow the skreel passes harmlessly right through you.
- As the skreel dives toward you, you calmly aim your weapon upward, attack twice, and watch it fall to the side.
- You duck into a little ball and dodge the attack by rolling away.
Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! It takes X damage.
Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
You gain <scaling> experience.
