The Human Campfire

You are fighting The Human Campfire.

On the incendiary villain scale between Towering Inferno and Flint "Tinder Box" Steele, the Human Campfire is definitely down at the low end of the infrared spectrum. She can kick up a few sparks on occasion, but she's generally less mobile and more low-key than a lot of the other pyromaniacs.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • You try to fend off the Human Campfire's attack with a convenient stick, but it only stokes her flames higher. (fire) damage
  • The Campfire dares you to try to jump over her. You don't know why you accept the dare, but it sure burns when you don't make it. (fire) damage
  • She lobs a flaming marshmallow at you. The hot, sticky insides are melted enough to splatter all over you, spreading the burning. (fire) damage

She hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • Before the Campfire can attack, a bear wearing a park ranger's hat appears out of nowhere and chases her around for a while.
  • The Campfire charges, but you're prepared and kick some dirt on her, temporarily putting out her flames.
  • She lobs a flaming marshmallow at you, but you catch it between a graham cracker and a piece of chocolate, which is certainly s'more fun than being burned. Then you give the candy to a passing child and shoo them away from the fight.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

Notes

  • Ryme stated that the reason this foe has color is "it just didn't look right in greyscale. You couldn't tell what it was. And it's so pretty in color." Pretty is good enough reason for me.
