This is kind of ambiguous. Even the game says "to the cost of combat spells", but spells usually refer to elemental/psion combat skills, and the reductions apply to all combat skills (even naturalist, gadgeteer and unclassed), right? I am currently not in a position to verify conclusively (out of turns), but pretty sure that jill's gloves reduce cost of shock grenade, and aura:mystery of animal kung-foolery. Combat spells

This is kind of ambiguous.
