GigaGuy cannon
Plural: GigaGuy cannons
A color-changing hero named GigaGuy once used this cannon to take a particularly wily villain to task and bring the city back from the brink of darkness and return it to light. After that he apparently had to rush off to some other city to put down a nearly identical plot devised by the same villain and some imitation cohorts, and in the process apparently he left all of his weapons behind.

This thing is tricked out with a number of attachments on the cannon, which seem to be able to do quite a few different things, up to and including scrambling eggs. Or frying them. Or blowing them up. Any of the above, actually.

Ranged weapon (Unknown)
Power: 10
Item cannot be auto-sold

+X offense power (+10/level, max: +100).
+1 extra attack(s) per turn.
Provides several special attacks in combat.
Occasionally causes foes to drop restoratives.

Then again, as the sphere just rolls to your opponent, it's not leading you anywhere. The greyish bubble pops and sticks all over your opponent, apparently weighing them down.
  • GigaGuy crashing bomb (10pp) (only once per combat round)
You fire a crashing bomb from the cannon. True to its name, the projectile crashes and then explodes in a cloud of smoke and debris. Your opponent is badly stunned.
  • Sometimes after combat:

You got an item: GigaGuy capsule Gigaguy-capsule.gif

  • Sometimes after combat:

You got an item: GigaGuy pellet Gigaguy-pellet.gif

Notes

  • Both items can drop after combat, but no more than one of each.
  • The fire atom skill available increases every combat turn it is not used. It starts with not being available at all, then small fire atom, fire atom, and finally large fire atom.

References

  • GigaGuy bares a striking resemblance, in nature and action, to Mega Man, a color-changing, ability-absorbing, robotic hero who faced off against Dr. Wily, with the aid of his robo-dog, Rush in several very similar adventures.
