inverted shadow |
---|
You are fighting an inverted shadow.
When everything is completely dark, and most creatures don't even have eyes, the silent lurker needs to be glowing white to be a proper shadow. At least, that's how the theory goes. It's a stupid theory, really.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- The shadow grips your arm, and chills you to the bone. The shivering makes your bones rattle. (ice) damage
- The shadow reaches through your chest and plays knick-knack with your gizzards. (ice) damage
- The shadow tries to shadow you, mimicking every movement. When you get wrapped up in the comedy, it pokes you in the eyes. (ice) damage
It hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- The shadow tries to poke you in the eyes, but you block with a well-placed open-palm gesture.
- The shadow grips your arm, but your thermal underwear keeps the cold out.
- The shadow reaches through your chest, but can't grip anything while it's insubstantial.
