clamp of stairvoyance
Plural: clamps of stairvoyance
Something seems to be wrong with this magic trick. It doesn't look anything like a clamp, and you've never heard of stairvoyance. You wonder if this thing spent a little dime town in the maze of sewers under Twilight. Er, time down in the maze. Yeah.

You pull out the clamp which doesn't look like a clamp and then at a distance you apply your clair-, er, stair-, um ... You're not sure what happens, but when it's all over your opponent is lying at the bottom of a set of stairs, having taken X damage.

References

  • The item references the Rank and Musty Daze....er, the Dank and Rusty Maze by virtue of mentioning the "maze of sewers under Twilight" and the fact that "clamp of stairvoyance" is an obvious spoonerism.
  • Clairvoyance can be translated as the ability for "clear vision". Apparently, "stairvoyance", as asserted by the use message, allows players to see...other things.
