Might have something to do with this, after loosing a fight against a modded foe:

You lose the fight, blacking out for a moment. You find yourself back at your hideout with 100 HP. Convenient! Patojonas 16:11, 1 January 2015 (PST)

1UP is a reference back to the good old days of gaming, where you get extra lives. Given the effect, this is effectively an extra life allowing you to go again!

  • No, wait. That's what it does withot a "too hard" talisman equipped, even for singleuse. Multiuse is actually:

> You touch the disks and they disappear, replaced by a '4' floating above you.
