I don't think any connection is intentional. One of the forums uses the same joke. And, well, the song is really catchy and amusingly repetitive. Cristiona

Also doesn't work against all UR monsters, all scaling monsters, and monsters from choice adventures (ie: the sphinx). I don't think it's been tested again the Scientist at the castle, though. Cristiona

Hm. Probably doesn't work on boss/quest monsters either, hence the VIP. I wager it won't work on the Blotto sotto capo either. Cristiona
