Walkthrough

1. Visiting Twilight Police Department after reaching level 9 gets you:

Rand greets you warmly when you stop by his desk. "Hey, kid, good to see ya. I think I've got something for you. There's a guy called The Bard, thinks he's Shakespeare or something, who's taken over a theater downtown and is causing problems. It's a tragic story, really. Used to be a high-school drama teacher, but some jock prank accidentally killed one of his students during a performance. The guy went a little nutty after that, and disappeared a few months ago. I'd feel bad for him, but his costumed thugs have been committing armed robbery left and right. Thought this might be your kind of thing.

The adds the following journal message:

Rand suggested that you check out the Cube theater downtown, and see what kind of trouble this Bard character is up to. With you on the case, it's curtains for him, for sure.

2. Patrolling at the Cube Theater will eventually yield the The Bit Player adventure. You are given a choice of seventeen roles, split between 5 groups. 1 group is always wrong, the other 4 are actually 2 separate pairs. Every retcon the game will randomly determine one group to be the correct one in each pair. If you correctly guess a role you get a script page, if you incorrectly guess a role you get beat up and told that this category belongs to him.

The first pair is males vs females in Shakespeare's plays, either all females are correct, or all males are correct. By trying any one of them you will know, if you make a lucky guess then you will need 4 attempts to get them all. if you make an unlucky guess then 5 attempts.

The second pair is for Romeo And Juliet characters, either the Montagues or Capulets will be correct. Try any one of the 6 options here to know.

After getting your first script page, the following message will be added (in addition to the previous one) to your journal:

Maybe the pieces of The Bard's script can be used against him?

3. The Bit Player must be encountered six more times. Choose the rest of the seven correct roles. After all seven have been chosen you receive the Basic understudy‎ sidekick and the journal messages changes to:

Maybe the pieces of The Bard's script can be used against him? Try putting the whole manuscript together and see what you can do with it.

4. Use script page 1 to get The Bard's Play. Use The Bard's Play and select "Keep reading" and you get to fight the Bard. Defeat him and the following message will be updated to your journal:

Congrats! You've beaten The Bard. Maybe you should let someone know about it or something?

5. Visit Twilight Police Department to get:

Rand says, "Hey, kid, that was some nice work, taking out The Bard in his theater. Thanks from all of us here on the force."

This will conclude this quest and add the following message to the Completed Quests section of your journal:

You've brought down the house on The Bard and there won't be an encore. He's not likely to stage a comeback.
