You know the neighborhood kids dare each other to break in here all the time, so there's a decent chance one is in danger. Sighing, and trusting your talisman not to push you to break and enter without good reason, you slip through an open window and follow the pull up to a second floor chemistry lab.

It smells like something burning, along with notes of sulfur and caustic chemicals. None of that's too surprising, though.

The strange wind whipping through a portal on the opposite side of the lab, causing the ghostly flames of bunsen burners to leap and dance, might be a little more concerning.
