Over the noise and excitement it's easy to sneak up fairly close behind the criminals. During the approach the officer manages to take out two of the three gunmen, but then a howl of pain from his direction tells you that he's been hit. Using your special "ninja" skills, you step out from your hiding place, position yourself behind the criminal, and and brain him with your weapon.
