&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;In addition to the instant kill observed with lightning there is also an outcome involving thunder:&lt;br /&gt;
:You attack ... leading off with the Nutcracker&amp;#039;s signature headbutt, you daze your foe ... you take aim and fire, scoring 11 bull&amp;#039;s eyes in a row. Assuming you&amp;#039;re fighting a bull. Since you probably aren&amp;#039;t, you get 11 shoggoth&amp;#039;s eyes. Ouch. After being shot for 187 + 2 + 187 damage, they&amp;#039;re not looking so good.&lt;br /&gt;
The interesting thing is that that resulting sonic damage was equal to the physical damage as the target was a shoggoth which is resistant to all forms of damage. So either the sonic damage is equal to the physical damage and not impacted by resistances or the sonic damage is double the physical damage and impacted by resistances.
