There is some unusual behavior when welding this item. I received the following:

My first weld:
You can't help but feel that this kind of thing has been done before, but the experience was still something special. You gain 4000 XP.

My second weld:
You're insanely excited to have created such an innovative new object ... until you Google it and find out it's been done before. Twice. You gain 3000 XP.

Each after that received this message and a slowly falling xp value:
You know it's already been done, but it's still good experience welding, so why not enjoy it?
It went 2700, 2400, 2100, 1800, 1500, 1200, 1000, 950, 900, 850, 800, 750, 700, 650, 600, 550, 500, 350, 300, 250, 200, 200, 200.

It looks like the lowest possible return is 200xp but I'm not sure how the value is assigned based on 450 and 400 being bypassed. It could be linked to the current amount of art that exists because my starting message implies at least one of these were made before I got to it. Will check to see what the counter does after rollover and wait for more data points to become available. As it stands it isn't concrete enough to go onto the page proper.
