|desc=An ancient curse from a forgotten desert people has turned this once-human petty criminal into a half-man/half-spider prince of the desert. As is somehow always the case, the curse doesn't actually harm the recipient, but instead makes them infinitely more powerful. And as always, super powers turn the minor criminal into a super villain. Nobody ever gets super powers and then just sits around being normal.
