	The shielding around the Mick's office is probably the only thing that saves you. It's several minutes before you come to, trapped inside the bent and twisted remains of the room. It takes a while to dig yourself out of the rubble. What waits outside is chaos. Your cell is atop the ruins of the NCI Live building, surrounded by several blocks of utter destruction. Something like a third of the Hyde Park neighborhood has been flattened, burned, or blasted. The whole scene is horrific, but you're so badly wrecked it's all you can do to move, let alone try to help.		The shielding around the Mick's office is probably the only thing that saves you. What you least expected was a mostly empty conference room. A few sparse chairs around a small table, one TV/camera setup against the wall. It's quite a letdown.

As you're poking around, checking for secret doors, the communication screen flickers on. You can't see much on the other end, just a dimly lit office and a completely silhouetted figure up front. The shadowy figure on the screen calls out, in a demanding tone, "Ace! What's going on over there? I've heard there's been fighting, and the exosuit's beacon has been deactivated. Ace! Get on the line!"

You step in front of the camera, and the figure on the other end jerks, possibly in surprise. "Who the hell are you?" he (or maybe she) asks -- there's a lot of distortion in the signal.

"I was going to ask you the exact same question," you reply.
