Well, I'll give it a go on the main page with some opinion that may or may not be welcome. TH is a GREAT concept. But right now, it really is just a concept. I'm not sure it's even ready for Beta yet. I'm a very, very casual game player, and I exhausted it in three weeks. There's too much that is yet-to-be implemented. The atmosphere is terrific (seriously, awesome sense of urban dismal), the classes are neat but need serious work (what's the point in being a gadgeteer if you can only make a couple of gadgets?), but the real problem is that there is so little to do.

Can I see it being a very fun and successful game? Yes. Is it ready to be live and on the 'net? No.

Good luck, and please persevere. I'll check back sometime.

I'm not sure you understand what the point of a Beta version is... It doesn't necessarily have to be complete. It doesn't have to have tons of content. It doesn't even have to have every feature nailed. As long as it's playable, that's all that matters. From the perspective of the creator, we're there as test subjects to run through to discover bugs, as it's very time consuming to do so and we'll think of things to try that Ryme might not (although, I am certain that he also wants us to enjoy the game). In any case, it is up for beta, and maybe you'll check back some time. - Satan

Can we make the images clickable? For example, from the main map you can click "Downtown" and navigate to that page. When you then click "Zion Tears" you get an edit box for the image, if you want to navigate you have to click the blue link text. I think you can do this, but I don't know how to define the coordinates and have not found a wiki language description for this.

The Auction House is where you sell your extra items, or buy items from other players.

==The basics of buying==

Pick the category of item you're interested in (searching by item name will be available soon). Then pick the item you'd like to buy.

Items can be listed with a "buy-it-now" value. If they are, you can click the Buy Now button to purchase it immediately at the buyout price.

Alternately, you can bid on the item by putting the bid price in the box and hitting the Bid button. The auction house will take your money immediately and will hold it until either the item delists and you receive it, or someone else bids a larger amount, in which case you will get your money back.

Any item for which you are the top bidder will be highlighted in blue, just like the box surrounding this text. You will also see a note in the Notes column saying "(Top bidder)". Both of these clues will let you know that you currently have the item. The auction house will allow you to outbid yourself (if you feel you need to make a more competitive offer) so be careful not to accidentally bid against yourself.

==The basics of selling==

To sell an item you must pick which item you want to sell, the quantity of that item that you want to list, and then make some choices about the prices you want to set. You can set a starting price, which is a minimum bid that buyers have to meet before they can get the item. Note, however, that this starting price will be used to determine the listing fee of the auction, so an unrealistically high starting price might cost you money if the item doesn't sell. You can leave the starting price blank, in which case it will default to the autosell value of the item.

You can also enter a "Buy-it-now" price for the item. This is also optional. If you leave it off, bidding will simply continue for the duration of the auction. If you put in a buy-it-now price, other shoppers can purchase the item instantly at any time for that price.

Finally, you need to pick a duration. Currently, because of the beginner state of the economy, the choices are 1, 3, 12, and 24 hours. These will probably be shortened as more people join the game.

Each time you log in to the game, you start at the main map. You can also always go back there by clicking the Main link at the top. This map shows you the city of Twilight and reveals the areas you can reach to patrol. If you have reliable enough transportation, you can patrol areas as far out as the desert beyond the city. Without transportation, you're limited to just your local neighborhood. (See more in the [[Hideout]].) From this top-level map, clicking on an area will take you to another page which lists your choices for activity in that area. Most often you will choose an area to patrol, looking for problems to solve and bad guys to fight. But many areas also have other features, such as a hospital for healing, the Heroes' Guild for training, and

Talismans are very special items: they're the source of your hero's power. All heroes start the game with one talisman and must always have one (and only one) on them at all times. There are others that can be found or earned and your hero will have the option to pick which they want to use. Talisman Transmogrifier:
This is an insidious little device that you put together one evening when you'd had too much caffeine and couldn't think of anything else to do. From the outside it looks a bit like a cardboard box with a few wires and knobs coming out of it, and one really large "Transmogrify" button.

To be honest, the [[transmogrifier]] kind of scares you. Your notes suggest that anything put inside the box will be bombarded with some kind of horrible ray unknown to most scientists. You've tested it on a few mundane objects, and they've basically disintegrated. In theory if you put some sort of super-powerful object inside, such as, say, a talisman it might survive the ordeal but come out drastically altered. Unfortunately there's also no telling what might happen to the person who was fundamentally tied to the talisman at the time. There's a very good chance that you could lose most or even all of your powers and end up starting over from scratch -- barely more powerful than the average mortal.

On the other hand, change is fun, and it might let you see things from a different perspective.

Heroes start out with at least one skill, and gain more as they advance in levels. Skills come in different types: passive, combat, noncombat, buff and effects.

In this game you play a superhero character. First and foremost, characters are primarily defined by their '''class'''. Each superhero is one of four classes: Elemental, Naturalist, Gadgeteer, and Psion. Each class has a distinct set of abilities and weaknesses, and will tend to have a different method of approaching and solving problems. (See more on [[classes]] on that section of the manual.)

Each character has three main stats which help to define their abilities: '''Strength''', '''Intellect''', and '''Reflexes'''. '''Strength''' is a measure of physical power. It primarily helps as a factor in dealing extra damage in combat, if you're attacking with a weapon. '''Intellect''' represents smarts, focus, and your ability to observe the world around you. High intellect can increase the damage that most spells deal in combat, and also can affect whether you're surprised by opponents, or whether they surprise you. '''Reflexes''' represent agility and reaction time. Reflexes play a part in determining how well you can dodge opponent attacks, and how well you can aim your own attacks.

Each character also has two other important stats: '''Hit Points (HP)''' and '''Power Points (PP)'''. 'HP' represent how much damage you can take from opponent attacks before you need to rest or heal yourself. '''PP''' reflect an amount of superhero power that you can tap into in order to use your hero's special abilities.
