*Elemental damage: You rig up your weapon with an array of high-tech elemental attacks. Plus some serrated edges, just for fun. Of course the components will break eventually, but you should be able to get forty-five minutes out of it at least.<br>
*Self-balancing: You apply a high-tech balancing apparatus to your weapon which ensures that not only won't you fumble, but some of your worst swings will be guided in to hit your opponent's critical spots. Some items are clothing and can be worn, and might include helmets, boots, shirts, pants, accessories, and so on. You can put these items on in the Wear Things page. Most clothing provides you protection. Weapons allow you to deal damage in combat, and can also be equipped or unequipped in the Wear

Things page. There are two types of weapons: ranged and melee. Currently, other than the style of attack, there isn't a significant difference between the two types, but this is likely subject to change. Your hero should be equally good with either method. Some items—particularly accessories—provide your character with other benefits. Clicking on the item picture will pop up a descriptive window

that tells you about the item and what it does.

Using Items—Other items can't be worn, but can be used for a wide variety of effects, including healing, giving your character more turns, and many other reasons. Anything listed in the Use Things page can be used. Some items also have a use in combat, and will appear in a list of options during a fight.

Other Item Types—There are also items that aren't wearable or usable, but still serve a purpose. Some, such as transportation items (see more on the Hideout below) go into the garage in your hideout. If you take one out, it can open up new areas to explore and patrol. Some items exist just for their value, and can be sold for chips. Some are simply decorative or collectible, or may serve a mysterious purpose later that isn't apparent yet. There are also computer parts, which allow you to

make computers and run useful software. Anything that's not usable can still be seen on the Full Inventory page. Most items can be sold using the Sell Things page.

Finally, there's one very special type of item, talismans. Read the talismans section to learn more about them.
Mangoes and mochi--independent of each other--have some of the more unusual textures when it comes to food. Unlike a gin and tonic, where blending two unpleasant things results in a surprisingly pleasant concoction, the mango mochi still has a pretty weird texture. It's sort of like what you'd expect if a stress-relief squeeze ball and a pincushion got married and had kids.
Children, let me sing you a song about these chocolate mochi balls. Say, everybody have you seen my mochi? They're round and tasty and brown. If you ever need a quick pick me up, just ... er, you know what? I can never really hit the notes right anyway, so let's just skip the song.
On a hot summer night, sometimes it's nice to get your caffeine through a cold medium rather than a warm one. If you feel that way, this coffee-flavored mochi ball might be the perfect choice for you.
Natural herbal restoratives blend with ice cream and a fuzzy, rubbery shell to make for a strange but surprisingly refreshing treat. It makes you wonder whether ginseng omelettes or peppermint-salami sandwiches might not turn out better than they sound, too. Then again, probably not.
|desc= In your hands you hold a heavily used GooseBerry PDA, product of SketchiTech corp. This model is a few years old, and the memory module has been removed, so when you turn it on you just get a blotchy pattern of dots that look something like a sickly horse. Or maybe it reminds you of the expression on your father's face the day you spilled your banana split all over the seat of his brand new car. You know, maybe you ought to talk to someone about some of those repressed memories.

Anyway, without the memory module this thing doesn't have much value, but if it was patched up you might be able to get some use out of the thing.
