Level 30 Naturalist and I consistently get XP. Nommy 6:54, 11 Februrary 2011 (PST)

Based on the line in the description: "The sensei takes careful measure of your getup and stance, and then approaches with appropriate countermeasures. ", does it depend on what you have equipped? As a Level 30 Naturalist, I've gotten both Intellect and XP, with different equipment. The Leopard

It might be related to your stat modifiers, or maybe just your highest buffed stat. I once adventured in the Blvd and got +Strength every time. Then when I gained an extra level and started casting Aura:Mystery, I got +Intellect every time. Sanjuro 14:47, 9 June 2011 (PDT)

In general, I find that if I have a number one fan equipped, I get Intellect. Otherwise, XP. (P.S. Int is my highest unbuffed stat) -The Leopard

I just got Strength. The only notable difference is that I had a saw glove equipped as a weapon. Offhand: Rolled Doll dahl -The Leopard

I've been doing a little more experimentation. When I had a fall's staff equipped, I got Intellect. With badger gauntlets equipped (as a Naturalist), I got Strength.
Hypotheses: +Melee damage = Strength. +Spell damage = Int.
I'm not sure what raises Reflexes, yet. I've tried it with an iolite ion stone, and onyx ion stone, and gotten XP both times, so I'm guessing it's not "dodging" or "to-hit". -The Leopard

I would guess that if +melee damage is strength and spell damage is int, then +ranged damage = reflexes. LeaChim 12:13, 17 June 2011 (PDT)

I think that's it. I just tried it with a your little friend equipped and got Reflexes.

If that's indeed it, we should put it in the article, with the proper formatting. So basically it's...

if spell damage is highest modifier intellect, if melee damage is, strength, if ranged damage, reflexes, if there are no appropiate modifiers(or..if they are the same, I guess?), XP? Kurg 07:28, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

:Gah. Should have expected stuff like this to happen. When I made the patrol template, I made it set the image to 150px in width to make them uniform with the game (if you look carefully, you'll see :File:Somerset.jpg stretched a little in both), as all the others are like that. I might be able to tweak the template so that you could add another parameter that defaults to 150, but allows the user to enter the width as well. --hoyifung04 18:38, 23 September 2011 (PDT)
:::Thanks hoyifung04 it looks like it does in the game now. I'll try to get the veteran and trainer boss locations open after rollover and start working on fleshing out this location. I'll hold off on actually fighting the bosses though in case it shuts the area down. --Valmo 19:04, 23 September 2011 (PDT)
There are minimum stat valus for adventuring here:

(trainee tents)
As you approach the area, one of the larger brutes peels off from the group and blocks you from approaching. "This training program is for strong men and women. You're not strong enough to participate. If you get hit with some cosmic rays, come back and we can talk."

You must have 70 strength to patrol here.

(veteran tents)
A veteran stops you before you get anywhere near the rest of the group. "Strength is important, yes, but an experienced fighter also has to be quick, or he might as well be dead. You'd better work on your reaction time if you want to come in here."

You must have 70 reflexes to patrol here.

(can't check trainer tents, stats too high right now but obviously it's going to be intellect)

Normal 0-level humans start with 1 HP, 1 PP, 1 Strength, 1 Intellect, and 1 Reflexes.

Transmogrified characters have an extra +5 HP, in addition to their 0-level human base stats.

Strength, Intellect, and Reflexes
At first level, each class gets 7 attribute points: +3 to their prime requisite and +2 to their two secondaries, to bring them to 4/3/3 (before modifications due to talisman).

Class
Strength
Intellect
Naturalist
+2
+3
+2

At second and succeeding levels, each class gets 15 attribute points, distributed through weighted randomizing among Strength, Intellect, and Reflexes. The random weighs are summarized below:

Class
Strength
Intellect
Reflexes
Naturalist
50%
25%
25%
Gadgeteer
25%
25%
50%
Elemental
33%
33%
33%
Psion
25%
50%
25%

What this means is that while an attribute with 25% chance will usually get 2-5 stats (average 3.75), an attribute with 33% chance will usually get 3-7 stats (average 5), and an attribute with 50% will usually get 5-10 stats (average 7.5), a distribution of 15/0/0 is also possible, for all classes and for any attribute, although this is highly unlikely.
Naturalist heroes have great physical strength, but their greatest skill is their ability to channel the powers of numerous wild animals. Not only can they drink like a fish and snore like a bear, but they will sting like a butterfly and float like a bee. Or, um, the other way around.

Introduction
Sugar is one of the two consumables in Twilight Heroes, the other being Caffeine. Consuming sugar increases your Bedtime, allowing you more time to play.

Using sugar after casting Sugar Purifier increases the time gained by 20% + 3S%, where S is the number of SkillPoints invested into the skill. For each item consumed, 15 minutes of the effect are removed, and the following line is added after the use message:
:The sugar purifier makes the sweet intensely sugary.

Each sugar item has a size in "units" of sugar. You can consume 6 such units per day. Trying to consume more will get you the message:
: Ugh. You don't feel very good right now. You don't even want to think about eating any more candy today. Maybe not until next month, even.

Trying to multi-use too much sugar will get you the message:
:That's way more candy than you should eat in one night. You're old enough to know better than than to even consider that much sugar. Yuck.

Trying to multi-use sugar when you are under diet restrictions gets you the message:
:You have opted to go without sugar this run, so you can't have that. Sorry, no cheating on the diet.
* It is hard to compare items which consume contain both sugar and caffeine to items that contain only one of them. The values used in the table above assume that each caffeine unit yields 17.5 adventures, such as the amount given by Mister Tea and other standard caffeine items. Other useful comparisons might be:
You can wear it everywhere, even if you're just kicking back at home and vegging out. Only the coolest of the cool have a jacket like this, so slip it on and show it off to everyone.

The zippers and straps allow you to adjust it so you're always the perfect temperature, and just wearing such a fashion statement is always an excellent experience.
After the adventure you put your hands into your jacket pocket for a moment to warm them. Ho! what's this? There's a little ticket in the pocket. How'd that get in there?
A man in a jacket that looks identical to yours (except for the color, but that's okay because we all know it's the style that counts) approaches, nods warily, and then furtively slips something into your grasp while doing his best to look like he's intently focused on something off in the distance.
desc=Back in the Golden Age of Twilight, the most famous hero was Major Twilight. He represented everything good and noble about Twilight city (such as it was), and was almost universally loved. Some cynical commentators think it was just because he took the city's name as his own, but most people just think those commentators are jerks.

Regardless, like most of the other Golden Age heroes, he mysteriously disappeared many years ago. Many people think that Colonel Afternoon (who represented "corruption, graft, and the Twilight way") was responsible, but he was never convicted of anything (see above about corruption and graft).

All that remains from this once great hero is his incredible shield. As much a weapon as a means of defense, this nigh-indestructible moon-styled shield was built by Mecha Nist out of acoustically tuned paladinum. Nobody's sure exactly what that means, but it seems to imply that somehow it remembers the Major, and will only work properly for people who hold up his ideals.
desc=Back in the Golden Age of Twilight, the most famous hero was Major Twilight.
