So, we should start spading the mechanism for receiving these items. I'm guessing that they are only given to active players (logged in during last 60 days), and only to those who can wear them (i.e. a level 3 is not going to receive anything stronger than Fortune), but these are on thoughts I had, with no proof. Oh, and yes, I've only gotten Frost. Five times. --hoyifung04 20:37, 2 August 2011 (PDT)

From what Cris has said, each item has certain triggers that, when met, gives a chance to obtain the weapon. Only one of each weapon is awarded, but it is possible none are given. No player can receive more than one Armament a day. --hoyifung04 20:58, 10 August 2011 (PDT)

Well, I got Frost (Nat level 30) after a full day of adventuring at the Inner Cochise Base and Triassic. I think I also fought Frostheim, which would make sense as a trigger. --User:Nommy 12:06 13 August 2011 (EST)

I've gotten Hammer 3 times on my alt Lord Jareth, which I use to farm the Crypts. Wraith has come to my main twice since I started retconning again, both times on day 2 of a run. No weapons at all on my other alts. --Harry Dresden 08:19, 13 August 2011 (PDT)
:Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... Cristiona

My alts (which have received Frost) adventure in Castle Hundenswein and the Cube Theater, with Villains enabled and wearing a Trident of Nodens. Some thoughts of mine include: defeat Deacon Frostheim; and do a certain amount of ice damage. Seeing as my lower-levelled alts have not received Frost, the first seems less likely. --hoyifung04 20:25, 31 August 2011 (PDT)

I got Shadow after spending the better part of a day in Shiloh. I didn't do anything special that day that I can remember other than use the Light Cycle instead of my normal transportation. --‡ Trog ‡ 16:45, 19 September 2011 (PDT)

I got Wraith twice, and both days I had beaten the Mick and retconned just before rollover (i.e. like Harry on Day 2). --Acidcat1 11:18, 20 September 2011 (PDT)

I got Frost on one of my lower-levelled alt which adventure at the Golden Wooden Nickel Casino after the dog days of summer. Maybe do a certain amount of elem damage? Also, I got Claw on my lever-levelled Nat, which adventures at the Underwater Base. Finally, a non-Frost AoD! --hoyifung04 20:24, 25 September 2011 (PDT)

I got Star today on my Elem who adventures at the protest. Used two Firestorms yesterday; maybe do enough damage with spells? --hoyifung04 20:50, 30 September 2011 (PDT)

I got the star on my alt (Delmar) after completing the Cube adventure. I did some damage with skills and spells, namely Animal Kung-Follery and Ice Bolt. Delmar was a Level 10 Psion when I got this. I didn't think that the damage that I did was excessive or remarkable, though. --‡ Trog ‡ 17:46, 7 October 2011 (PDT)
I got the shadow again, but for the first time on this character. I just retconed and this is only the second day of this run. I built a light cycle, though, before I retconed. This is either a huge coincidence given my experience from last time or the trigger for getting the shadow. Can someone check that out? --‡ Trog ‡ 07:54, 10 October 2011 (PDT)

I received Wraith today on my main which at present is a level 6 gadgeteer. The particulars are I spent my entire day one of a retcon on Teeter Street trying to harvest data from the xp non-combat. I ended up getting beaten up a ton so I'm leaning towards thinking that losing fights has a part to play in getting Wraith. Given how it seems to arrive on day two for people who do get it I'm going to go out on a limb and say being the most beaten up person on day one of a retcon is a potential trigger. I guess I can test it on my next retcon and see if I can get it again. --Valmo 15:35, 14 October 2011 (PDT)

I got Wraith again today, day 2 of retcon as level 6 naturalist. I didn't get particularly beaten up yesterday any more than normal. My guess is it looks at everyone who retconned the last day and just picks one of them at random.--Acidcat1 00:36, 21 October 2011 (PDT)

Well, I got Claw on 16 Oct, but I was a Level 7 Elemental on the 2nd day of a new retcon, and I was unable to use it. The level requirement is 15. :( Sanjuro 11:15, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

I got Fortune on my Nat the day after the Frank's Ballpark event. After the ballpark, that alt continued to adventure in the underwater base. --hoyifung04 20:41, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

Hmmm... interesting.... I got Frost on my lower-levelled Gadget today, after adventuring at the Casino Grounds. No elem damage (as far as I could tell - UW:Lethalised is not active anymore, and none of my equipment does elem damage). There goes my theory of "do enough elem damage...." --hoyifung04 20:52, 24 October 2011 (PDT)
|desc=You've seen some big robots in your day. You've seen some nasty things. But this, this, has got to be the worst yet. It's a titanic black dome with dozens of spinning blades and positively bristling with humming energy weapons. It's like its creator couldn't quite decide what he wanted his robotic minion to have, so he gave it everything he could possibly imagine. And then added several copies of each. And then enlisted the help of a blue ribbon panel to come up with even more stuff.
|miss3=It must think your on fire because it blasts you with a fire extinguisher. Sadly, it forgot to pull the pin, so nothing happens.
You really wish you had a camera, because it's one of those things that you'll always remember. The remaining bits of the fusion octotron also explode, creating more cool lights and sparks, and sending more debris falling around you. One of the air conditioning vents malfunctions and kicks into high gear, providing a really neat wind effect.

It doesn't get much more awesome than this.

Oh, hey, it looks like one of the fusion components didn't completely explode. You pocket the stray item.
