Normally I wouldn't do this for content I've made, but I had nothing to do with the restoration formula. With that in mind:

You pop the cap and guzzle down the elixir. It tastes just like it looks, but it sure makes you feel better. You gain 133 HP and 266 PP.

That gain looks a lot like Level -1 for HP and (Level -1)*2 for PP. Someone want to try with a lower level character? Cristiona
More data:

Level 83: 83/164

Level 134: 132/264
136/272
133/266
Perhaps level +/- 2, then. Seems it definitely factors the HP and just doubles it for PP. Cristiona
Ultra rares are defined by their drop rate. They also have other things in common, like not having an autosale value and being in color. Cristiona

Generally, if you obtain it from an adventure that's not quest/event related, does not have an autosell, is in color, and takes a really long time to find, it's gonna be an ultrarare. The confirmed UR's are Abaddon's charm, Ebon Eye, Ultimate Aviator Goggles, Boomstick, Filthy Puppet, and Best Memory disk. The filthy puppet wasn't originally a UR, I believe, and then Ryme upped it on Cris's suggestion. Maybe. We know that they do not have an auto-sell if they're UR's due to the time Ryme set all UR's to non-auto-sellable when I accidentally auto-sold the charm. - Satan
You sigh at yet another of life's unexplained mysteries and do the only sensible thing. You turn around and run right back up the mine shafts you already know lead to freedom.

With heroic timing you make it out of the shaft just in front of an explosive blast of dust from the swiftly collapsing mine. You pause until the dust settles, then remove your grimy helmet and heavy armor, your long hair blowing in the breeze (if applicable) and calmly wave to the collection of miners and heroes gathered around you.

Congratulations! Thou hast restored peace unto the mine! But there are many roads yet to travel. May the light shine upon thee.
I didn't get any new hit / miss messages... only thing I think is missing is the amount of XP; I got 2000 experience as a Level 62 Gadgeteer, that's probably what everyone gets. --JazzTap 05:51, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

----Various attack/miss messages.
Your opponent attacks ... Brother Spleen summons a handful of floating orange dots that burn like the dickens as they zip through your body. He hits you for X (fire) damage.

Your opponent attacks ... Brother spleen tries to spray you with bile, but accidentally releases a sanguine humor instead, leaving you feeling courageous, hopeful ... and maybe even a bit amorous? (Not toward the spleen, just in general.)

Your opponent attacks ... Brother Spleen vents his raging bile duct at you. It's nastier than the time you got slimed in the library. He hits you for X (acid) damage.

Your opponent attacks ... The Spleen releases a powerful, noxious gas. You try to blame it on a passing gypsy lady, but she places a painful curse on you for your effrontery. He hits you for X (psychic) damage.

Your opponent attacks ... The Spleen releases a powerful, noxious gas, but the quick use of a spare canned tornado funnels the bad air away.

Your opponent attacks ... Brother Spleen summons a swarm of legendary pink dots, but they realize they're late for a gig and hop the next plane for Amsterdam.

----After beating it's ass.
You got an item: uncut diamond

Brother spleen begins pulsing and quivering dramatically, and then weirdly just kind of fades into blackness as the electronics around it/him/whatever spark and explode. You don't even have time to relish victory before the light changes to a bloody red color, sirens ring out, and the whole place starts shaking like crazy.

A self-destruct mechanism attached to an oversize spleen? That's just too much.

A door at the back of the chamber opens. You rush over and peek through, seeing an impossibly tall vertical shaft lined in metal, with only the tiniest of rings and platforms to be used as hand and toe holds. Then you think: wait, how in the world is an encapsulated spleen supposed to evacuate from anywhere, much less up the world's most difficult climbing wall?

Er, something like that...
Spade
*'Explorers, dubbed "Spades" for their tendency to dig around, are players who prefer discovering areas, creating maps and learning about hidden places. They often feel restricted when a game expects them to move on within a certain time, as that does not allow them to look around at their own pace. They find great joy in discovering an unknown glitch or a hidden easter egg.' - Wikipedia definition of an Explorer

stuff i will be adding after i wake up. quests, officer rand, what to do and not to do when adventuring, merit badge basics, silver stars and items of color.--Reaper 03:52, 3 June 2008 (MST)

if someone has an idea or suggestion put it here and i will see what i can do.--Reaper 03:53, 3 June 2008 (MST)

Suggestions: very brief motivation might be nice, distinguishing a walkthrough (do A->B->C) from a guide (you want A or B, which you can get easily from C or D). For example,
"Head to Pilant's Hardware and Soft Wear & Pick up,
* 1 flashlight
* 1 kneepads
* 1 bicycle."
might further explain "You're trying to obtain an inexpensive item for each empty equipment slot on your character sheet. You can't wear duplicate items (else you might buy e.g. 2 <strike>flashlights</strike>)." --Tycho Everett 14:23, 3 June 2008 (MST) Yah, sorry, I meant wearing two of the same Accessories in your Accessory slots (in this case Knee Pads). --Tycho Everett 17:21, 3 June 2008 (MST)

"Do not use the Magic truck vehicle." Note that there are some other items that slow you down, specifically don't equip the Remaindered cell phone from the Black Market. --Tycho Everett 15:41, 3 June 2008 (MST)

The Remainder cell phone has benefits, and i didn't want to limit what players consider useing.
the Where to start section is a brief section to help jump start those players who haven't even spent a turn,
and to show players where to get what they need when they find them selfs overwhelmed.
(i doubt there will be that many new player who find the wiki without even useing a turn.)
as most players know from other games you can not equip 2 items to a single slot, the only confusion that most new players have with it is the accessories slots and duplicate items and i covered that in Equipment. as most things this takes time.--Reaper 16:37, 3 June 2008 (MST)

I wouldn't say "Don't use these items," but it would certainly be worth taking a moment to explain that "adds +X to turn duration" is a bad thing. Cristiona

I hope you don't mind, Reaper, I've been making a few grammar related edits and readability changes. Nothing major, just expanding shorthand to full words (lvl to level, for example) or capitalizing acronyms (Iotm to IOTM). It might help someone who is newer to the internet or games in general, and doesn't understand basic shorthand and such. -- Naborr 17:00, 7 June 2008 (MST)
*That's fine but there are 2 that i have a minor problem with first is in the game it's jetpack and not "jet pack" (I should have made it a link) and XP is also in the game. but the other stuff are things that i missed. thanks :) --Reaper 20:43, 7 June 2008 (MST)
**It should be IotM. That's technically the correct capitalization in English. --MN (#228) (T|C) 23:43, 7 June 2008 (MST)
Hum. Do we want to list the current market price for Silver Stars? Cristiona
i could remove that part & its not current its more like a few months ago, i just dont want people getting ripped off. i know i will add in a little section saying something like "check ah and what others are selling them for"--Reaper 20:07, 8 June 2008 (MST) forgot my sig >.>
I like useing ampersands. I find them useful for the reader, when they are trying to skim thought a large article.--Reaper 15:31, 9 June 2008 (MST)
The rare section needs a clean up. You switch terms too much. You start by telling people there are two kinds of rares, semi and ultra, and then call some items "rare" without clarifying which you're talking about. I'll get an outline up for an ultra and semi page. We'll need them eventually anyway. Cristiona
Reference: Confirmed. It is Bandaras, in The Legend of Zorro. Clean up the references, add to the caped suit, and you can all go home. --Pantomine 16:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
|desc=You catch Alpha Prime and OmegaTron locked in a "duel to the death" for something like the fiftieth time. Because they're completely oblivious to anything else but each other, it's an easy task to sneak up behind the two behemoth robots and knock them flat on their respective afterburners when they're not looking.

You say, "Look, this is silly. This is our space station, our stream. It doesn't belong to either of you and no matter how much you fight over it, frankly, you can't have it, unless-" Both robots start to object, but you cut them off. "Unless! You agree to my simple terms. Do you want to hear the terms?" They bicker for a bit, but eventually agree to listen. You explain that there's plenty of room for both sides, and outline a means of sharing the waterways in the space station, where the warring robots can take turns using the water while earning their rent rebuilding the station and teaching their technology to humans.

Shortly you have both sides nodding in agreement, and they're practically ready to sign a peace treaty, when a glowing pinhole of light appears directly above the middle of the pond. The light grows quickly in size and brightness, and then a swarm of aquatic creatures come pouring out of it and splash into the water. One of the creatures swims across the pond and surfaces mere meters from where you stand with the two robot leaders.

The creature that comes out of the water looks something like a spherical alligator, if such a thing is possible. It also appears to be robotic. "I am Pentacron, leader of the Aquassons! I hereby claim this water in the name of the Aquassons! Guilty!" it shouts.
Bugs/Misbehavior in the template
Some of these are requests for improvements. Some are bugs. Some are open to discussion I guess.
* Adding a "usable=yes" field without adding a "used" one does not result an "incomplete page"
* Adding a "combat=yes" field without adding a "combatuse" one does not result an "incomplete page"
* Not adding a "uses" field results with an "incomplete item". This means that I have to add "uses=none" when I'm not (and none of us will probably ever be) 100% sure there is no use.
* The link to the items by number page is not working correctly. This is on all items with id>=100.
* There is a line break problem when there is a "used" field. See for example embiggening tonic.
If we do "References", might as well do "Notes". But aren't we over-templatizing? I think standardization is the goal and templatization is one way to get there. == Shortcuts ==
Not sure if anyone cares, but I added short words for the various types... misc for miscellaneous items, offhand for offhand-items, full for full-body suits, acc for accessories, melee for melee weapons, ranged for ranged weapons. If you object, or can think of something that's fairly annoying, or whatever, please discuss and let me know. --Valera 04:53, 12 February 2008 (MST)
How obtained
How about adding "how obtained" to the template? I find that I am adding it manually, and it looks different for any item (different number of spaces etc.) Just a thought--Muhandes 10:20, 21 October 2008 (MST)
Yeah, I know. I'm rather scared of statistics, to be honest. I don't know if anyone actually has the numbers for the Cube, let alone the Castle, but you're right, the guide is severely lacking in charts, tables, percentages, and whatnot.

In fact, it's severely lacking in anything that isn't an opinion. I see no significat points made in this over the old Chip Farming page other than Psions get 30 extra minutes and that there's a couple new effects to look into. Also, over on that page you claim this is more 'general' farming than chip farming, but you don't list anything that'll help with item farming here, except when it happens to yield more chips from autoselling. If you're actually going to present yourself as an authority on the subject of making more chips, back it up with facts, instead of "Well, this is what I do, I think it's the best.". 24 hours.
I would argue that the equipment section especially has plenty of new information. It explains in detail why each piece of equipment should be used. It says, for instance, why you should use a Letter Shirt instead of a Harness because you get more time to farm more chips than you would gain from a harness. I apologize for all of the opinion and terrible jokes in it, but that's just the way I write. I've been taking out some of the worse "jokes." And finally, what I mean by "General Farming" is simply contrasting "Chip Farming," which does not include +%item drop items. The idea is not for farming any item- it's making as many chips you can with a combination of chips and items.

There are also some things that aren't backed up by absolute statistics. Where there were none, I simply use estimation to say what is probably best. If y'all have some spading that you've done that prove otherwise, feel free to change it. The guide isn't perfect.
This page needs to start being maintained by someone. Anyone want to volunteer?

You might want to add the sidekick from the League of Self Promoters (reputation area) that gets you more chips for 2 hours.

Hm. I suppose I'll try out giving this page some updates. -K3v

I think that we could consider adding Castle Hundenswein to this as there is quite high chip drops (for most monsters) and the autosell value of item drops is high. I'd personally rate it higher for chips than the Cube. Yamum

I did indeed write a new Farming guide. For now I just put a notice at the top of this page, but it is quite obsolete. Perhaps this page should be deleted once my guide gets some of the tables in this one? I'd make them myself but I don't know how and I feel like I've spent enough time on it already. -K3v

Hmm...I think the wiki will need policies on outdated guides. I suggest having a "Last update: Date" at the top to notify people how old a guide is from its latest update. We should probably personalize guides as well ("General Farming by TheK3vin") so that someone can at least claim ownership. --MN (#228) (T|C) 15:32, 26 November 2008 (MST)
