MagiNinjA: very minor number correction to fit data better

Normally I wouldn't do this for content I've made, but I had nothing to do with the restoration formula. With that in mind:

You pop the cap and guzzle down the elixir. It tastes just like it looks, but it sure makes you feel better. You gain 133 HP and 266 PP.

That gain looks a lot like Level -1 for HP and (Level -1)*2 for PP. Someone want to try with a lower level character? [[User:Cristiona|Cristiona]]

Ultra rares are defined by their drop rate. They also have other things in common, like not having an autosale value and being in color. [[User:Cristiona|Cristiona]]

Generally, if you obtain it from an adventure that's not quest/event related, does not have an autosell, is in color, and takes a really long time to find, it's gonna be an ultrarare. The confirmed UR's are Abaddon's charm, Ebon Eye, Ultimate Aviator Goggles, Boomstick, Filthy Puppet, and Best Memory disk. The filthy puppet wasn't originally a UR, I believe, and then Ryme upped it on Cris's suggestion. Maybe. We know that they do not have an auto-sell if they're UR's due to the time Ryme set all UR's to non-auto-sellable when I accidentally auto-sold the charm. - Satan

Brother spleen begins pulsing and quivering dramatically, and then weirdly just kind of fades into blackness as the electronics around it/him/whatever spark and explode. You don't even have time to relish victory before the light changes to a bloody red color, sirens ring out, and the whole place starts shaking like crazy.

A self-destruct mechanism attached to an oversize spleen? That's just too much.

A door at the back of the chamber opens. You rush over and peek through, seeing an impossibly tall vertical shaft lined in metal, with only the tiniest of rings and platforms to be used as hand and toe holds. Then you think: wait, how in the world is an encapsulated spleen supposed to evacuate from anywhere, much less up the world's most difficult climbing wall?

You sigh at yet another of life's unexplained mysteries and do the only sensible thing. You turn around and run right back up the mine shafts you already know lead to freedom.

With heroic timing you make it out of the shaft just in front of an explosive blast of dust from the swiftly collapsing mine. You pause until the dust settles, then remove your grimy helmet and heavy armor, your long hair blowing in the breeze (if applicable) and calmly wave to the collection of miners and heroes gathered around you.

Congratulations! Thou hast restored peace unto the mine! But there are many roads yet to travel. May the light shine upon thee.

There are many words that will be spread around whilst in the community. Have a list. Although slightly outdated, Bartle definitions of the suits are also included, as are the more modern interpretations.

===Spade===

They often feel restricted when a game expects them to move on within a certain time, as that does not allow them to look around at their own pace. Suggestions: very brief motivation might be nice, distinguishing a walkthrough (do A->B->C) from a guide (you want A or B, which you can get easily from C or D). For example,
"Head to Pilant's Hardware and Soft Wear & Pick up,

* 1 bicycle."
might further explain "You're trying to obtain an inexpensive item for each empty equipment slot on your character sheet. One of the creatures swims across the pond and surfaces mere meters from where you stand with the two robot leaders.

The creature that comes out of the water looks something like a spherical alligator, if such a thing is possible. It also appears to be robotic. "I am Pentacron, leader of the Aquassons! I hereby claim this water in the name of the Aquassons! Guilty!" it shouts.

Some of these are requests for improvements. Some are bugs. Some are open to discussion I guess.
* Adding a "usable=yes" field without adding a "used" one does not result an "incomplete page"
* Adding a "combat=yes" field without adding a "combatuse" one does not result an "incomplete page"
* Not adding a "uses" field results with an "incomplete item". This means that I have to add "uses=none" when I'm not (and none of us will probably ever be) 100% sure there is no use.
* The link to the items by number page is not working correctly. This is on all items with id>=100.
* There is a line break problem when there is a "used" field. See for example [[embiggening tonic]].

If we do "References", might as well do "Notes". But aren't we over-templatizing? I think standardization is the goal and templatization is one way to get there. I don't see any effect other than direct damage--and it's MUCH less than any real attack!
It should tangle an enemy up for at LEAST 3 turns...Sort of like KOL's Spider Webs attack.

Well. After writing this, I almost immediately was alerted to the fact that Castle Hundenswein much, much better for farming. I'm doing research on the items (which you should autosell, which you should use to create sidekicks, etc), but if anybody else wants to change this, be my guest.

You're forgetting noncombat vs. combat rates as well as item drop rates. I preferred the DDD because of the item drop rates totally beat the Cube's. Yeah, I know. I'm rather scared of statistics, to be honest. I don't know if anyone actually has the numbers for the Cube, let alone the Castle, but you're right, the guide is severely lacking in charts, tables, percentages, and whatnot.

In fact, it's severely lacking in anything that isn't an opinion. I see no significat points made in this over the old Chip Farming page other than Psions get 30 extra minutes and that there's a couple new effects to look into. Also, over on that page you claim this is more 'general' farming than chip farming, but you don't list anything that'll help with item farming here, except when it happens to yield more chips from autoselling. If you're actually going to present yourself as an authority on the subject of making more chips, back it up with facts, instead of "Well, this is what I do, I think it's the best.". 24 hours. Make this page better (and, in fact, make it match its title) or it may be removed. I would argue that the equipment section especially has plenty of new information. It explains in detail why each piece of equipment should be used. It says, for instance, why you should use a Letter Shirt instead of a Harness because you get more time to farm more chips than you would gain from a harness. I apologize for all of the opinion and terrible jokes in it, but that's just the way I write. I've been taking out some of the worse "jokes." And finally, what I mean by "General Farming" is simply contrasting "Chip Farming," which does not include +%item drop items. The idea is not for farming any item- it's making as many chips you can with a combination of chips and items.

There are also some things that aren't backed up by absolute statistics. Where there were none, I simply use estimation to say what is ''probably'' best. If y'all have some spading that you've done that prove otherwise, feel free to change it. The guide isn't perfect.

I think that we could consider adding Castle Hundenswein to this as there is quite high chip drops (for most monsters) and the autosell value of item drops is high. I'd personally rate it higher for chips than the Cube. Yamum

I did indeed write a new Farming guide. For now I just put a notice at the top of this page, but it is quite obsolete. Perhaps this page should be deleted once my guide gets some of the tables in this one? I'd make them myself but I don't know how and I feel like I've spent enough time on it already. -K3v

Hmm...I think the wiki will need policies on outdated guides. I suggest having a "Last update: Date" at the top to notify people how old a guide is from its latest update.
