You're... pretty sure you weren't gone long enough for all these eggs to show up. Probably some temporal shenanigans.

You add a length of lead pipe to the mix (remember this is from before they invented lead poisoning). The water level of the pond decreases a little, moving time forwards... you're not even sure what's going on there.

Yeah, there's a lot of pipe in here that just needs to be replaced. It's old pipe too, so none of this fancy pants PVC or titanium stuff. Just good old lead.
