* I got +3 foe toughness after winning the first fight of the day and after "Your pants' legend has diminished", and +1 for each fight afterwards. The legend increase is not even guaranteed (looks like it happens less and less often). I only got it to 48 so far (level 256). Also, only two badly remembered datapoints, but this particular legend level might translate to anywhere between +45% and +100% chips, or maybe roughly +100 chips (but only on foes that already drop chips). --[[User:XKiv|XKiv]] ([[User talk:XKiv|talk]]) 09:09, 2 May 2017 (PDT)

Equippping august pants against (very advanced) titanicos increased my chips dropped from 5752 to 67577, so I conclude the "tougher foes" part actually refers to absolute toe foughness, not just the increase from these pants. --[[User:XKiv|XKiv]] ([[User talk:XKiv|talk]]) 06:28, 3 May 2017 (PDT)
