Polar Star

The Polar Star was a famous, or possibly infamous considering the source, diamond that made its wielder feel like a god. This fist-sized, flawless gem looks like it would be worth enough to purchase several small nations, but it glows with an eerie inner light that would likely put off any potential buyers. Besides, the throbbing power makes you reluctant to part with it.
