letter of pre-recognition
Plural: letters of pre-recognition
This is a letter of pre-cognition, also known as precognition. Normally precognition involves knowing things that are going to happen ahead of time. The fact that I have to explain this to you means you need what's inside this letter.
Comes from the March 2009 Item of the Month
Miscellaneous Item
Item cannot be auto-sold
{{#vardefine:consumable|no}}{{#vardefine:consumable|{{#var:consumable}}}}Combat Usable
How Obtained
- Using Marty Crouch's magic chest (0-11)
When Used in Combat
You open up the envelope, hoping to find some useful advice inside. And there is! The letter tells you exactly how to smash your opponent to the ground and then, once they're down, use the letter to light them on fire. Amazing how prescient the letter was; it arrived pre-wreck-ignition, indeed.
Your adversary takes X damage and then you get Y XP from putting out the fire.
Notes
- X is between Level*3+8 and Level*7. Up to level 2 it does Level*3+8 since the upper bound is lower.
- Y is between some level dependent lower bound and 10*Level, capped at 150.
