As you try to abort the program, there's a loud explosion and the world goes white. When you wake up, you find yourself in a field, standing in front of what appears to be a meteor impact site. Despite having seen the Blob, you lean in close to examine the steaming rock.
Inside, you find a blob of silvery goop. As you reach out to it, it lances out and soaks into your hand. You let out a yelp and suddenly find yourself back in the real world, with a blob of silvery putty in your lap.
Whoa. How did that happen?
