the undiet soda
Plural: the undiet sodas
Oddly enough, nearly every soda, pop, coke, or whatever you want to call it in Twilight is actually a diet beverage. It's a fallout from a storm of lawsuits after the citywide drama known as the Sugar Litigations played out a few years back. At the time it was believed a villain was trying to use sugar to control the city's children. Turns out the only villain at work was greedy capitalism and the addictive power of soda.
Still, even though sugar has started to make a comeback in other forms, once Captain Saccharine developed a sugar substitute called PlexiSweet that actually tasted good in order to save the city from horrible diet sodas, everybody lost so much weight that they never bothered to bring sugary sodas back.
Except, it appears, for Mister Citrus, who has to mask the tartness of his grapefrorangerine citrus blend with the sweetness of real sugar to make a palatable drink. As such it is one of the rare sodas in Twilight that actually contains both caffeine and sugar.
