Here's the thing. Me and Valera and Cris were itching for a use for the pinata (it did not always have a use link). One day, after the harness had been implemented, I decided to suggest to Ryme the harnessed pinata combination, a transportation, as a joke. Cris and Valera evolved that idea into this beast. It does not exist, has never existed, and will never exist. - Satan

:::I think, perhaps, its because people think of wiki entries as having the intent to inform regarding something factual.  If there's an entry for an item and an explanation for why it can't be obtained, they think, "Hey, cool.  That's a neat bit of history for an odd item."  Wikis are seen as sources of information, after all.  Thanks, everyone, for clearing this up for me. ::::I agree with Alhazred actually. We should at least add a small note at the bottom along the lines of, "...was never implimented...," at the least.  — [[User:Corrupt Shadow|Corrupt Shadow]]

Is there any evidence regarding the existence of this item and the removal and reasons behind said removal? Chat logs, etcetera? I was always intrigued by this item's wiki page, but I think some of you older players may be taking for granted the information you have been casually given access to over the course of Alpha and early Beta. I guess I'm wondering what the standards are for this wiki effort; what information needs evidence or citation? Either that, or I'm just bitter because I've always wanted a MECHAPIÑATA of my own. Also, this talk entry might be needlessly long and rambling. Yeah. Alhazred 13:43, 10 April 2008 (MST)

It doesn't exist. Simple as that. —CorruptShadow
Should we then add a note explaining the source and that it's impossible to confirm? Or do you mean that the item never existed? Hope I'm not being a bother; I'm just interested. Alhazred 14:20, 10 April 2008 (MST)

Pretty much. I am sort of surprised that no one had called us on it for so long. And we will use the page in the future, possibly.--ζειαηđδηǐ (τ|ϛ) 16:28, 10 April 2008 (MST)

I agree with Alhazred actually. We should at least add a small note at the bottom along the lines of, "...was never implimented...," at the least. — Corrupt Shadow
