As you walk up to the mine to fight yet another of the endless stream of foes, a dusty naturalist hails you on his way out and tells you that the creatures have been beaten back to a lower level of the mine. She gives you directions on how to find the shaft leading down to the next level. "They call it Brynne Fair. Weird name for a mine, I know. Guess the chief engineer named the level after one of his daughters. Anyway, there's some nasty creatures down there. Strange swirling energy balls and inverted shadows, on top of more--and tougher--versions of the skreel and rockupines."
