Shifty Sam

You are fighting Shifty Sam.

This is one of Livia la Frostheim's trusted henchmen. The name and the fact that his form is constantly blurred gives you a good idea of what to expect.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • His fist stops blurring just in time for you to see it connect with your face.
  • One minute he's there, the next he's behind you, beating you senseless.
  • He blurs so fast that he actually turns invisible. You'd think he'd use that ability to go steal some cake rolls, but he uses it to hit you. A lot.

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • His fist stops blurring just in time for you to dodge his punch. Guess he should've blurred more.
  • One minute he's there, the next he's, um, still there. Oops.
  • He blurs so fast that he actually turns invisible. You'd think he'd use that ability to go steal some cake rolls, and you'd be right.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
