Here are the past special events in Twilight Heroes. Lets hope Ryme will add more.

03-13-09: Sunset Strip Mine (till 03-30-09)
- Mutli-day Event.
02-09-09: Battle of the Bands
- Full Day Event.
12-23-08 Snow day (Lasted 2 days.)
- Full Day Event.
12-21-08 bowl of oil (Hanukkah gift.)
- Gift Via Message.
12-16-08 Snow day (Lasted 2 days.)
- Full Day Event.
11-07-08: Buzzkill's Army (note:this area used to be known as the St. Anne Park event.)
- Limited Turns Event.
11-01-08: Twilight's anniversary
- Gift Via Message.
10-31-08: Halloween 2008
- Full Day Event.
10-21-08: Frank's Ballpark
- Limited Turns Event.
09-19-08: Battle of the Bands
- Full Day Event.
05-06-08: Ryme's birthday (Note: This is likely to happen once a year for many years to come.)
- Gift Via Message.
04-01-08: April Fool's 2008
- Full Day Event.
12-24-07: Lump of coal (Christmas gift.)
- Gift Via Message.
11-20-2007: St. Anne Park (note:this area has become a permanent fixture in Downtown Twilight.)
- Limited Turns Event.
09-30-07: St. Anne Park
- Limited Turns Event.

There are 4 know types of events.

Limited Turns Event A location is open for a set, normally quite low, number of turns before it is locked.
Gifts Via Message An item is sent from Ryme via message.
Full Day Event Either a location is open for a single day, or foes are added to all areas for one day.
Multi-day Event Much like a quest, where locations are open only for a limited period.
