onyx ion stone
Plural: onyx ion stones
If you hold an ion stone, concentrate on it, and let it go, it slowly floats around you, like an electron in orbit. Hence the name ion, which is ancient Greek for "you're making me dizzy, spinning around like that."
This one's made from onyx. While there are numerous shades of onyx (as it's yet another type of quartz), this particular one is jet black. Because that's the awesome shade for onyx.
