Whatever you do with this thing, do not point this at your significant other in the middle of a heated discussion and use it to try to change the channel. It's only going to have the opposite effect.

How Obtained

A player is given this from the Pouch of Many Lost Things.

Used

You take the batteries out of the remote control, so that it doesn't go off while you're adventuring and change the channels of innocent standerby. Yeah, you're heroically considerate, too.

You got an item: [[{{{1}}}]] [[image:{{{2}}}|40px]]

When Returned

(where [person] is the character you return the lost remote to)

You locate [person] and deliver the lost remote control. They seem exceptionally happy to see it.

You feel really good about giving back that lost item. The smile on [person]'s face just made your day. It gives you a nice, warm feeling. You get an effect, Toasty Heart. (Added for 30 minutes.)

Notes

If you rest whilst having a lost remote control in your inventory, you get the following message:

You stop by your hideout to rest for a minute. Remembering the remote control you've been carrying around, you dig it out and watch some television. It's far more satisfying than watching television without a remote. FAR more.

Unfortunately, after a few minutes of use the aura from your super powers shorts out the remote. Weird. Ah, well, it was nice while it lasted.

You gain X hit points. You gain Y power points.

This nets you a full heal to your HP, and gives you 50% more PP than usual.
