You mess around with the filter for a bit, but you're not feeling very creative. Your head must be full of 'Songs in the key of I don't know what to put in here.'
When a shot of espresso is in your inventory and you use the filter, you get the following message and item:
Figuring iteration is always fun, you take the most condensed thing you can find in your inventory and pour the shot of espresso through the filter. What comes out is an even smaller pool of even more concentrated coffee. Hey, man, that's a nice shot!
