I don't know if this is implied anywhere on the wiki, but the gains from at least *this* chip companion seem to be
- non-random: always based off the base (average?) chip drop of the current foe
- independent of your +chip buffs and equipment (i.e. if you wear or use something that increases chip drops, only the normal chip drop will raise; the ".. finds you a couple of tax loopholes ..." will stay the same
- considering this - with +115% sidekick effectiveness, a capped accountant seems to be giving 215% of base drop ... which nicely fits with Thorak's observation that the base should be 100% (20 levels + 115% = 43 levels gives 215% drops)
