junior varsity stalker

You are fighting a junior varsity stalker.

This stalker isn't quite ready for prime time yet, but is putting in the hours and working her way up the ranks. Beating up an actual superhero might be just the break she needs to get into the varsity squad.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • She appears behind you and yells "boo!" It's a cheap trick, but effective nonetheless.
  • She splashes you with some noxious chemicals. Apparently she wasn't sleeping during her alchemy electives. X (acid) damage
  • She throws a smoke bomb and pegs you dead between the eyes. Kids these days don't even know how smoke bombs are supposed to work.

She hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • She appears behind you and yells "boo!" You lecture her on how jump scares are a cheap gimmick and she promises to stab you next time instead.
  • She splashes some noxious chemicals at you, but her accuracy just can't keep up with the actual alchemists.
  • She throws a smoke bomb at your feet, but you're pretty sure she was aiming for your head.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
