You are fighting a dust devil.
You know how sometimes little whirlwinds form and you're not really sure the reason. Well, sometimes they're bigger whirlwinds and they carry a bunch of sand with them, which is why they're called dust devils.
Well, that and because their dusty hearts are full of pure malevolence and spite.
