college bully

You are fighting a college bully.

Part of a far more mysterious breed than the high school or elementary school bully, this college bully has been carefully trained up by the School of Villainy. He spends long hours in arduous training and studying, so that he has the best tools for the job.

He mumble-growls "you think you're tough, nerd?" in a way you're sure gets him at least a B+ in class, but mostly because the professors don't want to endanger his sports scholarship[sic]
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • You may be rubber and the bully may be glue, but he still punches you quite hard.
  • The bully picks on your sidekick because he's a huuuuuuuge jerk. It gets under your skin too, but your sidekick doesn't seem to know what way is up anymore. (psychic) damage
  • Your opponent gets a brutal hit! The bully runs out of funny things to say and just rips a park bench out of the ground. You realize bullies might be a little different here as he swings the park bench at you like a baseball bat.

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • You may be rubber and the bully may be glue, but it's actually hard to tell when he can't hit you in the first place.
  • The bully tries to pick on your sidekick, but after what you put them through every day... I mean, but after the experience they've gained under your tutelage, they have no problem shrugging it off.

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.
