-The line "Damn it, Jim," you say (Jim? Who's Jim?) "I'm a hero, not a washing machine!" id a reference to the comedy of Jim Gaffigan. Gaffigan has a distinguishable habit of speaking for the audience and expressing their confusion at the mention of unintroduced characters.
