Stranger in a Strange Landscape

Traversing the barren badlands, you notice in the distance a figure trudging along the edge of a ridge. You approach, and find a dirty but apparently unharmed man. There are old stains on his clothes that look suspiciously like blood, but he insists that he's okay. "I'm Kane. I'm supposed to be the executive officer of this travesty, but I've lost track of everyone. Some kind of centipede or something got Brett, and I got separated from the rest of the crew. I'm not sure what happened to Parker or Dallas."
"We were deep inside cave number 4 when it happened, but we were just about to give up. There was some really unsteady rock back there--the whole thing could collapse at any moment."
You take a moment to note that you should stay out of cave 4, and just go ahead and mark it as empty on your map.
