While patrolling the streets, a woman shouts your name. You approach, thinking assistance might be needed, but she introduces herself as "Ivanna Gnøe, beat reporter." She says she'd like to get a quick interview as part of a whole series of blurbs you'd like to do on your exploits.

On the one hand, the recognition might be nice, but you think it's likely with the additional fame certain criminals might come looking for you specifically, spoiling for a fight.

Options:

  • Grant the interview and accept the risks
  • Decline the interview, and stay out of the public eye

Results

If you chose Grant the interview and accept the risks:

Remember My Name - Fame!
You take a few minutes to answer a variety of questions about your superhero life, your thoughts on crime, your service to Twilight, and the like. Of course there's an obligatory question about your secret identity, which you decline to answer. Ivanna says she's going to go right back into the office. The article will hit electronic media in mere minutes, and print media by tomorrow morning.

If you chose Decline the interview, and stay out of the public eye:

I Must Remain in the Shadows
You tell Ivanna that you'd still prefer to maintain your privacy at this point. She's disappointed, but she accepts your choice.

Notes

  • Can be encountered at most once per day.
  • Choosing the first option enables Wandering Villains. Choosing the second option disables them.

References

  • "Ivanna Gnøe" sounds like "I wanna know" with a bit of accent.
  • "Remember My Name - Fame!" is from the song Fame, the theme song of the movie and TV series of the same name.
