Something's Not Right

Ebeneezer tracks you down while you're on patrol. "Something's not right. I thought this frusion energy would dissipate much more quickly than it has. It seems clear to me that an energy source is continuing to drive the frusion reaction. I've been working on cleaning up the site of the accident, and I thought I had enough deactivated that it would have completely calmed down by now, but that's not how it's working."
Ebeneezer looks grim. "Possibly the reactor itself is still running, even though it's been shifted to the frusion state. Or maybe something that absorbed enough energy has found a way to maintain the reaction. Based on recent outbreaks around the neighborhood, I'm starting to suspect the latter. Indications point to a mobile energy source. A very large and unusual one. Keep an eye out for anything beyond small animals, would you?"
