The Arachnid Prince
the Arachnid Prince |
---|
You are fighting the Arachnid Prince.
An ancient curse from a forgotten desert people has turned this once-human petty criminal into a half-man/half-spider prince of the desert. As is somehow always the case, the curse doesn't actually harm the recipient, but instead makes them infinitely more powerful. And as always, super powers turn the minor criminal into a super villain. Nobody ever gets super powers and then just sits around being normal.

- The prince stands by and lets the harsh desert sands do their work. You’re soon blasted raw and dehydrated, seeing mirages, and perhaps talking to yourself a little.
- The prince picks you up and hurls you into a rock. The rock isn't that tough, but it's still a rock.
- The Arachnid Prince bites you in the chest. Yeah, yeah, "fangs for the mammaries" and all that.
He hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- The prince tries to shoot you with his bow, but all of his arrows have been "bedazzled" and won't fly straight.
- The prince picks you up and hurls you into someone named Dwayne, who does a moderately good job of breaking your fall.
- The Arachnid Prince tries to spear you with his poisonous tail ... which he clearly doesn't have, because he's a spider, not a scorpion.
