1: make shift friends list - you can mail messages to yourself. you type up your friends list, select "save to outbox" then delete the message in your inbox. you'll have the copy in your outbox and it will keep your inbox fairly clean.
2: dead chat test/refresh - send yourself a pm in chat and it will refresh chat if its been frozen or confirm dead chat.
