Talk:Crammer's Guide to Cramming
First discovered in the mall store of Strlikecrazy.
Theorized to be a part of the new Level IV quest revamp. --Lxndr 11:55, 22 February 2011 (PST)
Confirmed, dropped by new foe. -zyborg
the item's description and fact that is is from a new foe it looks like it'd be irate student, but i didn't get it to drop the 2 times i fought her out of turns now, somebody else will have to try and confirm that...
Yes, it's from the Irate Student. I've had two drop in over 50 encounters. So it's fairly rare. And the new skill is called Fast Learner, and it's Passive --Strlikecrazy 08:11, 24 February 2011 (PST)
Another new Passive skill? Awesome! Is the Irate Student only there for the Protest? --Lxndr 12:03, 24 February 2011 (PST)
You cram in all that knowledge as quickly and as ineffectively as possible. A little bit of it sticks in short-term memory.
You have acquired a new skill: Fast Learner

Skill can be permed???
According to this page, Crammer's Guide to Cramming "Grants you a non-permanent skill when used. (Skill can be permed, but is not by default.)"
I have no idea how to "perm" a non-permanent skill. I searched the wiki--can't find the relevant information. I want to use the "Crammer's Guide to Cramming" item, but I don't want to waste it as a non-permanent skill.
PLEASE...link "Skill can be permed" to the appropriate wiki page that describes how to perm a non-permanent skill.

- "perm" is what happens when you retcon (one skill per retcon), and it works in the same way for all "skill can be permed" skills, whether they are class skills or gained from books. The only exception is skills that *are* permed by default (those work as if you already made them permanent in the past, and don't interfere with perming any further skills). --XKiv (talk) 06:15, 10 August 2014 (PDT)
