Obstacle courses were once simple things with ladders and monkey bars and maybe some ropes if you were feeling spicy. Now we've got some outer space stuff, with clouds of corrosive gas limned in lightning.

It doesn't look like anything you'd find on Earth, but it seems like the Hero Dash staff take their training very seriously.

If you've selected Ride the lightning but not Disperse the cloud:

You've grounded out M lightning bolts.

If you've selected Disperse the cloud but not Ride the lightning:

You've dispersed N cubic meters of cloud.

If you've selected Ride the lightning and Disperse the cloud:

You've dispersed N cubic meters of cloud and M lightning bolts.

Options:

  • Ride the lightning
  • Disperse the cloud
  • Dive in
  • Maybe later

If you chose Ride the lightning:

Channel the Power
You try to draw off some of the massive electrical power by shorting it into the ground. Hopefully you can discharge enough that it won't try to use your body next time.

It's not like you're a master of ions or anything, but you manage to siphon some off with good old fashioned science. Not everybody needs crazy superpowers like a stupid... superhe... hmmm.

  • Ground out 1 lightning bolt

If you chose Disperse the cloud:

Cloud, Cloud, Go Away
Well, since you're not on an actual horribly acidic cloud planet, you should just be able to disperse the cloud into Earth's atmosphere. Which I'm sure is completely safe and won't cause any long-term environmental impact.

If you have Sundowner Breeze active with 10 SP invested:

Your breeze clears out a great swathe of the cloud, sending it to rain on someone else's parade. We're just going to have to assume that someone is immune to acid.

  • Disperse 3 cubic meters of cloud
If you have Sundowner Breeze active with less than 10 SP invested:

A tickle of your breeze drives away a streamer of cloud, leaving you with a little more clear air (and a lot less acid).

  • Disperse 2 cubic meters of cloud
If you know Sundowner Breeze, but don't have it active:

You have some ideas about breezes, but nothing that can budge this cloud more than good old huffing and puffing.

  • Disperse 1 cubic meter of cloud
Otherwise:

Well, you can huff and you can puff, but that only works on straw through wooden houses. This cloud seems to be made of sterner stuff.

  • Disperse 1 cubic meter of cloud

And then, if you are wearing number one fan:

Your fan even blows away some. Who's a good little superhero? It is! Yes, it is!

  • Disperse an additional 1 cubic meter of cloud

If you chose Dive in:

To Boldly Go
You steel yourself and plunge into the acidic cloud. The sponsors say it represents the atmosphere of a new world, but you have a sinking suspicion they just want to watch you get struck by green lighting.

You wade into the cloud of acidic fumes for X damage, getting struck by lightning for Y damage as you try to haul the dummy out.

If you are defeated:

But that's all you have in you.
